Jeanne Ballew Robert A. Angell III, MS, CPA

Robert A. Angell is Managing Director of AMS, a provider of interim and part-time CFOs, controllers, and accountants. An experienced CFO and COO with a public accounting background before joining AMS, Rob held senior executive positions at several high growth public and privately owned companies. He started his career at Ernst & Young, leaving there as a Senior Manager. A graduate of Brown University, Rob earned his MS in accounting from NYU's Stern School of Business.

Jeanne M. Ballew is the founder and president of Ideas in Action, a training and dev elopement company dedicated to honing employee communication skills. She also owns and operates Edit Prose, a company providing freelance editing services to both fiction and nonfiction writers. She has trained over 15,000 people in areas such as communication skills, meeting facilitation, and diversity, her primary client being Ford Motor Company. Jeanne's MA from Eastern Michigan University is in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). She lives in Grass Lake, Michigan and enjoys theater, singing, and yoga.


Dan Chenoweth Dan Chenoweth, MBA, CPA

Dan Chenoweth has over 25 years of experience in executive level positions in finance, general management and organizational effectiveness. He helps clients take their strategy to the bottom line through rigorous project management and change management techniques, and by engaging and motivating their people. He has held executive level positions in general management and finance in a number of industries including telecommunications, printing and publishing, heavy equipment manufacturing, and apparel manufacturing. Dan lives in Loveland, Colorado.

John Daly John L. Daly, MBA, CPA, CMA, CPIM

John L. Daly is a Chelsea, Michigan based management consultant specializing in pricing strategy, strategic planning, and business turnarounds. He has taught continuing professional education seminars since 1995. Earlier in his career, Mr. Daly was Chief Financial Officer for a medium-sized Tier 1 automotive parts supplier. He has also been CFO for a large restaurant chain and COO for a manufacturer of window treatments. He began his career with five years working for the management consulting divisions of two large accounting firms. Mr. Daly is the author of Pricing for Profitability: Activity-Based Pricing for Competitive Advantage published by John C. Wiley & Sons, New York


Rick Malekian Richard Malekian, MBA

Richard Malekian is a New Jersey based management consultant specializing in shareholder value based management practices. He is a featured authority on shareholder value topics at professional forums. Mr. Malekian has worked in the management consulting division of Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Stern Stewart & Company, American Express Company, Merrill Lynch & Co., and Pfizer Corporation He holds an MBA in Finance from New York University and a BS in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.


Bill O'Brien William F. O'Brien, MBA, CPA

William F. O'Brien is a financial management consultant and educator with over 30 years experience. He has held senior financial management positions with Intel Corporation and ROLM Corporation and served as CFO for several emerging high technology companies. Mr. O'Brien has extensive experience in corporate planning, control, financial analysis, cash management, and managerial accounting in both domestic and international settings. He is on the faculties of Santa Clara University and San Jose State University and is a frequent financial management seminar speaker in both the U.S. and abroad.


Jim Petersen James R. Petersen, MBA, CPA, PE, CPIM

James R. Petersen is a versatile finance professional with international experience in business strategy, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and alliances. Mr. Petersen spent fifteen years in mergers and acquisitions/business development and strategy with Whirlpool, Rockwell International and Ernst & Young. He has an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan. Between seminars, Jim sails on the Atlantic Coast and the Caribbean on his boat "September Song".


Rick Van Es Rick Van Es, MBA, CPA

Rick Van Es is a Granger, Indiana management consultant and loyal University of Notre Dame alumni. Rick has been the President of an automotive electronics manufacturer, serving earlier as CFO of that organization. In his role as CFO, he negotiated and raised all of the funds for a management buyout, completed several mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, led an initial public offering and implemented many useful cost accounting reports based on product line profitability and direct costing. His experience includes leading all functional areas of a business and he has authored and implemented successful strategic plans. In an earlier life, Rick was a professional jazz musician, playing the trumpet. Other passions include playing golf and family activities.
